On this day in 1616, Sir Walter Raleigh was freed from the Tower of London after 13 years of imprisonment. Unfortunately, he was beheaded only 2 years later. Tough run.

Yesterday was a sensory overload for rate watchers. Lenders repriced for the worse. Then they repriced for the worse again. And again. One lender recalled rate sheets five times! I am not kidding. 5 TIMES!! That is a lot of repricing for the worse. Repricing for the worse = higher mortgage rates. http://ow.ly/3w38l

A number of social media-active celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Seacrest, will go silent on Twitter and Facebook as part of a $1 million fundraiser for World AIDS Day on December 1. Is anyone actually listening to these people.
The early forecast is for the unemployment rate to be unchanged at 9.6% with private non-farm payroll jobs increasing by 140K.
Well it has been a great day. Started off a bit rocky but ended with drinks with two fantastic guys and some great insight. Valuable day!
Interest rates were down yesterday then up today, yet still very low. Its like a crazy yo-yo this market
Fed to buy up to $600B of treasuries in a belief that it will speed recovery. Many do not expect this will push interest rates much lower.
WILL POLITICAL CHANGE EASE THE HOUSING CRISIS? Probably not going to help. So what should we expect going forward? More to come…..

Had a great time with some great guys smoking cigars with the Guys and Gars group. No I’m home doing laundry. One of these things is not like the other.
Who could have imagined we would have interest rates in the 2% range. It is just amaizing.
